Keeping Balanced Foundation is in formation, and we are not accepting donations yet. What we are gathering now is rarer and more valuable: a circle of people committed to being first when the doors open.
Design the gift you intend to make. No payment is collected today. Change or cancel anytime, no questions asked.
A pledge is a statement of intent, not a payment or an obligation. We will never sell or share your information.
These are the founding spending targets our board will govern to, published now so you can hold us to them later. Actual numbers will be reported openly in our annual report every year we operate.
Money is one stone. It is not the only one.
The backbone of every durable nonprofit. Predictable support is what lets us promise programs to communities and mean it.
Build your monthly giftSponsor a workshop series, a support-group season, or a neighborhood launch. Many employers also match employee giving.
Start the conversationMeeting space, printing, design, legal hours, translation. Donated skills and resources stretch every future dollar further.
Offer what you haveGrant writing, events, admin, tech. An hour of your best skill moves this mission further than you think.
Raise your handCongregations, schools, teams, and clubs can adopt the mission together: host a workshop, sponsor a circle, spread the word.
Partner with usShare the site with one person who cares about mental health access. Founding movements grow one neighbor at a time.
Share our storyThe first one hundred Founding Circle members are named permanently, on this site and, one day, in our first physical space. This is what the wall looks like today.
Names appear with permission only, in pledge order, as the circle fills.
You will always know our mission, our leadership, and how gifts will be used, before you give.
Our financial statements and annual report will be published openly, every year we operate.
Budgets and any staff compensation are reviewed and approved by an independent board.
Recognition happens with your permission only. Anonymity is always honored.
Your information is never sold, shared, or traded. Unsubscribe works the first time.
Questions get prompt, truthful answers from a human, including the uncomfortable ones.
Clinical services launch only under proper New York State authorization. No shortcuts, ever.
When we get something wrong, you hear it from us first, with the fix attached.
Not yet, because we are not accepting gifts yet. Keeping Balanced Foundation, Inc. is in formation and its 501(c)(3) application has not been filed or determined. When the IRS makes its determination, we will update this page and notify every Founding Circle member directly. For personal tax questions, please talk to your tax professional.
After incorporation, New York Charities Bureau registration, and the required approvals are in place. We will not take a dollar before we are cleared to receive it. Founding Circle members get the first notice.
Legal precision. New York requires charities to register before soliciting contributions, so until our filings are complete we collect intentions, not payments. It also means your first dollar arrives exactly when it can start working.
Right here, the day they exist. Our Certificate of Incorporation, EIN, IRS determination letter, and Charities Bureau registration will all be published on our Accountability page section as each one is issued. Radical transparency starts before the paperwork does.
Yes. Every gift will receive a written acknowledgment suitable for tax records, sent promptly. Monthly donors will get a single annual summary as well.
Anytime, instantly, no questions asked. A pledge is a statement of intent, not a contract. Email us or reply to any update we send.
Once we hold 501(c)(3) status, most corporate matching programs will apply. Tell us your employer when you pledge and we will flag your future gift for matching the day we are eligible.
Absolutely. Partner, volunteer, host a workshop, or simply spread the word. Start on our Get Involved page. Every kind of stone counts.
The Founding Wall has room for your name. It will not have room forever.
